Shaun Yu

Shaun Yu Receives Prestigious 40 Under 40 Award!

Our very own Shaun Yu was recognized by the Dayton Business Journal's as a 2008 Forty Under 40 Award winner on Thursday, April 24.  The event was presented by Raj Soin College of Business, Wright State University, and was held at the Dayton Convention Center. The DBJ’s annual award recognizes top young leaders who represent the promise of the Dayton Region and reality of today's business and community development.  A group of staff and board members from WDPR was there to cheer him on. Congratulations, Shaun!

Kevin Goes to NYC!

Congratulations to Kevin Gabbard, our Weekend At The Met Contest winner! He and his aunt -- who he credits with introducing him to the arts -- will be hitting The Big Apple the weekend of October 4th for The Metropolitan Opera’s presentation of Don Giovanni.

Kevin is student at The Ohio State University majoring in linguistics and philosophy.  He is a Centerville native and has never been to New York City or The Met.  They plan to take in many other NYC sights in addition to The Met Opera. Have fun, Kevin!

Weekend At The Met Contest was made possible by the generous support of VIP Uniglobe Travel and The Metropolitan Opera.
